How Does This Test Kit Work?

This test kit was designed with simplicity in mind. To test a wall, simply use the supplied tool to make a small testing hole approximately one millimeter wide in the wall. The tiny hole can be hidden behind a picture frame or piece of furniture, and can be easily patched after testing is complete, even with just a drop of paint. A test probe supplied with the kit is inserted into the hole to sample the drywall and wall cavity. After the exposure, the test probe is removed, and will indicate whether any sheets along the wall contain any toxic Chinese drywall. A positive test can occur in as little as 1 week, but we recommend leaving the probe in the wall for at least 4 weeks.
